Racik Silver

In this 2 hour introductory class, learn the basics of metal smithing and make your very own piece of silver jewelry using traditional techniques. This is a great beginners class and an excellent introduction to making silver jewelry for children and adults (age 7+). You will work with wire or sheet to design and make your own piece of jewelry.

This class runs from 8:00 - 10:00, 10:00-12:00, 12:00-14:00, 14:00-16:00, 16:00-18:00, or 18:00-20:00 (special times available upon request)

In a 2 hour class you can make a finished piece of jewerly of your very own design. Our friendly team will teach you how.

There is literally an infinity of possibilities of rings, bracelets, earrings, or necklaces you can make during a 2 hour class. Please feel free to use your imagination and search the internet for some inspiration.

The only guideline is to try to keep it simple. We want you to be able to make the jewelry yourself and be happy with it so try to keep it limited to a fairly simple shape and concept.

All general materials are included in the cost of the class, including maximum 5 grams of silver. If the weight of the material after making the jewelry is less than 5gr then you are still charged the normal cost. If the weight after becoming jewelry is more than 5gr, an additional fee of IDR 25,000/gram will be charged. The classes are taught by expert silversmiths from Bali (local people) who have years of professional experience in jewelry making. There is a class assistant to help who is knowledgeable about techniques and can translate any questions you might have. The teachers are friendly, knowledgeable and very happy to help.
